More than a billion dollars in spending will be up for a vote on Tuesday, May 21, as voters determine the fate of more than a dozen school district budgets and candidates vying for Board of Education seats.
Budget proposals range from $23.68 million in Webutuck to a whopping $234.95 million in Wappingers. There is also seven contested school board races among 16 districts, with 46 candidates hoping to claim victory on Tuesday.
